Report to: Business Analyst Assistant Manager
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop new systems or new life insurance products.
- Enhance existing functions or Product Day 2 (Phase 2) that meet end-users’ business and operation requirements.
- Integrate all needed services from 3rd parties that support business requirements.
- Consult end-users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.
- Analyze the business needs and system impact from the user requirement to have the right solution before the entrance to the design and coding phase.
- Evaluate user requests from new or modified existing systems/applications/functions to have responsible timelines and resources.
- Write the business specification documents (BSD) after consulting the solutions and analyzing the requirements.
- Perform technical tasks like running SQL queries to extract data to make simple reports for end-users or support during bugs or task analysis.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in IT/Finance or related field.
- Having ability to analyze the business process and business functionality.
- Good in both speaking and writing in English.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis role in Insurance or Finance or related domains
- Understanding and follow software development process.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Effective communication of information, situations and issues, and expression of opinions in a setting of international organization.
- Hard working and able to work efficiently and effectively under tight schedules.
- Effectively manage and plan resource to meet pressing priorities/schedules and rapidly changing needs, which are often encountered in a new market/office situation.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organizational, and time management skills.
- Resourceful and dynamic individual.
- Handle superiors and colleagues with respect.
