Group Sales Senior Manager

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

Job purpose: The Group Sales Senior Manager is responsible for building and growing corporate client relationships and contributing to AFYP growth through structured B2B channels in the group insurance segment. This role suits a driven sales professional with solid B2B insurance experience who is ready to take on greater ownership of corporate accounts and grow within a structured group sales environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Deal Execution

  • Execute end-to-end group insurance deals for corporate clients, including group term life, health, personal accident, and employee benefit solutions, in compliance with company policies and approval authorities
  • Develop and manage a structured pipeline of corporate prospects, converting opportunities through a consultative, needs-based approach
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of corporate clients, maximizing retention, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities
  • Support clients throughout the full deal lifecycle — from initial engagement and needs assessment to proposal, negotiation, and contract finalization
  • Represent the company professionally at client meetings and relevant industry events to build relationships and market presence

2. Sales Planning & Execution

  • Execute group sales plans in alignment with divisional targets, tracking activity metrics and pipeline progress on a regular basis
  • Contribute to AFYP growth targets by building a healthy pipeline of corporate prospects and nurturing in-force client relationships
  • Identify market opportunities across diverse industries and client segments to broaden the group sales portfolio
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and sales reports to line management, with clear visibility on deal status and forecast

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with HR managers, finance leads, and senior decision-makers at corporate clients
  • Ensure a consistent and professional client experience across all touchpoints, from onboarding through renewal and ongoing servicing
  • Proactively identify client needs, flag service gaps, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely and appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Product, and Claims teams to develop competitive proposals tailored to each client's workforce profile

4. Compliance & Governance

  • Conduct all sales activities in full compliance with MIC regulations, company policies, and professional code of conduct
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation across client interactions, proposals, and deal approvals
  • Stay informed of regulatory updates and incorporate changes into day-to-day sales practices as required

Job Requirements

  • University degree or above, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in insurance sales or B2B sales in the Vietnamese market, with a track record of managing corporate or institutional clients
  • Hands-on experience in group insurance sales, including employee benefits products such as group term life, health, personal accident, or similar solutions
  • Proven ability to win and grow B2B accounts across diverse industries — experience outside pure insurance (e.g., financial services, HR solutions, or corporate benefits consulting) is welcomed
  • Demonstrated success in managing a sales pipeline, meeting revenue targets, and building long-term client relationships
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging HR leaders, finance leads, and senior decision-makers at corporate clients
  • Consultative, solution-based selling approach — able to understand client needs, structure appropriate coverage proposals, and guide clients through complex buying decisions
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to manage your own pipeline and client portfolio with a high degree of ownership and accountability

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Comprehensive benefits including healthcare coverage, life insurance, and professional development support
  • A workplace built on three core values - Dedication, Integrity and Challenge — where you are encouraged to push boundaries, take ownership, and grow through meaningful work
